This Mercedes truck “parked” outside a museum for modern art in Karlsruhe, got a parking ticket. Of course, this got a lot of attention via the internet. Now the authorities state that it was all a joke, and that the ticket got deleted immediately. Not so sure about that.

Honestly, I can believe it was a joke. Not a terribly funny one, but then you lot are German ;)
Years ago I had a parking warden write me a ticket for standing on the pavement with my bicycle, then stick it to my chest. He definitely wasn’t joking, but I was laughing too hard to do anything about it other than ball it up and chuck it away.
